Unwritten Hoops is more than a basketball development service, it’s an inclusive environment for personal and on-court growth.
Dedicated to elevating player’s skills, I offer a unique framework for hoopers to shape their development journey
At Unwritten Hoops, I believe in the power of curiosity, with every player having a unique solution to a problem.
Through customised individual and group sessions, I empower players to explore their movement & skill capabilities in a high-energy competitive environment.
From working with one player in early 2023, to now training 40 players weekly, from complete beginners to NBL1 pros, my goal for Unwritten Hoops remains the same – to provide an individualised platform for all players to become more curious, on and off the court.
My coaching methodology centres on the constraints-led approach and ecological dynamics, creating dynamic environments where players learn by interacting with real-game challenges. Through carefully designed constraints and on-air exploration, athletes discover personalised solutions, adapting their skills in game situational contexts. This approach encourages continuous learning, creativity, and problem-solving, empowering players to develop a game that’s uniquely their own.
My name is Braxton Conradi, and for the past 23 years, I have been obsessed with the game of basketball.
After dedicating over a decade playing for the North Adelaide Rockets, I recognised that my journey in the sport could reach new heights through player development.
My love for coaching began to flourish during my time with Kevin Brooks Basketball, where I discovered a deep fascination for the art of skill development.
This passion inspired me to create Unwritten Hoops in early 2023 during my first year studying a Bachelor of Sports Science at UniSA.
While previously coaching teams from U10 to U18 at Kevin Brooks Basketball, I continually push myself to implement new science-based skill acquisition ideas within my workouts and Unwritten Hoops sessions.
